What a hot day at Sacramento for our NCGAD Tournament yesterday.  The temperature was over 100 degrees, I believe the highest was 107 degrees!  All had fun and we enjoyed our time there.  We also had 2 guest players who mentioned that they enjoyed the camaraderie and the deaf golf community that NCGAD is all about.

Before we started the tournament, we gave a moment of silence to our fellow NCGADer, John Hymes (rest in peace).  Also, at the 19th hole, we toasted John as well with a beer that I got for him.  He will be missed by many.

We had 3 match plays and all ended in almost a similar fashion:

Ryan Lentz over Eric Kunze (3 and 2)

Teddy Kenopic over Ron Bye (3 and 1)

Gabe Pedroza over Andrew Everett (3 and 2)

There won’t be a repeat champion this year!  Right now, the bracket looks like:
