2nd straight hot day at our NCGAD tournament! It was in the high 80’s at Paradise Valley in Fairfield.
We had more guests playing with us, hey, the more the merrier! We welcomed our old NCGAD-er and former prez: Mike Finneran, old NCGAD-er; Tim Blair, SoCal player; Mark Bayarsky of Riverside who is frequent NCGAD participant; and Charles Cook, who will become a full-fledged NCGAD member after he plays his 3rd NCGAD tournament next month in Berkeley.
We had a great informal meeting after this tournament to discuss issues, ideas, proposals, etc. and we are planning on doing this after every tournament at the 19th hole and hopefully be able to finalize any changes before 2024 season starts.
Our next tournament is on September 2nd at Tilden Park in Berkeley – the cost is $75 with cart and first group will tee off at 12:00pm. We are limited to 20 spots only – so be sure to sign up early!
