Finally, we are able to start an NCGAD season in January instead of postponing to February, March, etc., due to inclement weather like in the past few years.  Thank you, weather, for letting us play today!  Franklin Canyon was foggy in the morning but cleared up by the end of our rounds.  It was wet and soggy and the players all had ups and downs throughout their respective rounds.  All in all, a fun day and good start for 2025!

A couple of feats to mention here:

– Andrew Everett hit his tee shot to within a foot or so from the pin on the 2nd hole and almost aced it!

– Doug Dreisbach repeated his feat from 2024 by holing approximately an 70-yard shot on the 9th hole for a birdie!
