Las Positas Golf Course was hit hard by the rainstorms that we had recently and heavily damaged the course itself.  This requires Las Positas to have to clean up the tee boxes, fairways, and greens.  However, a few major renovations has to be done to undo the damages.  Lastly, the Back 9 holes are CLOSED and a few greens will have temporary replacement greens due to the damages and the golf course won’t be fully functional for at least a month or two.

End results: if we play on February 4th, we play the Front 9 twice that is currently under repair and some greens will be closed so temporary greens will be used for the duration of the repairs.

We, the board members, have voted unanimously to postpone the golf tournament at Las Positas to June 3rd.  I know it sucks but it is what it is.
